What Vex IQ teams accomplish is nothing short of amazing. It’s fun. It’s exciting. The skills they learn will last a lifetime. You can learn all about Vex IQ and this year’s challenge at the Vex IQ website. http://www.vexrobotics.com/vexiq/
The international VEX IQ program involves designing, making, and programming robots, which also complete a series of challenges. Team members are responsible for all of the work; they also have to do a research project as a team about some aspect of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Sharks Robotics members and their families must demonstrate a very high level of commitment. There are strict behavioral requirements regarding teamwork, and respect for others and property. This is a very intense yet supportive environment where learning and creativity are celebrated. |
